Ensuring that an effective system of financial and operational controls is in place and is working as intended.
Continually reviewing all assigned processes in order to identify opportunities for quality and process improvement.
Ensuring tools are implemented to measure and report on levels of customer satisfaction.
Supervising the team, providing on-the-job and other training and ensuring all people related activities are recognized, rewarded in a timely and appropriate manner to retain key finance professionals.
Working with the other team leaders and across the Global Finance Service functions to ensure co-operation and smooth operations.
Monitoring to ensure that the standards of customer service provided by the unit consistently meet or exceed the requirements set under the Service Level Agreements agreed with the customers.
Ensuring that all activities co Global Finance Service inducted in the unit are appropriately documented and approved according to the new policies developed for the Global Finance Service, and that documentation is kept accurate and up to date.
Ensuring the maintenance and ongoing development of effective systems and procedures in Global Finance Service for the timely collection of data from all accounting sites and their collation and submission to various bodies as required.
Processing and Decision making as per the Departmental Operating Instructions manual and within the timeliness and accuracy standards specified.
Continuous Improvement in Productivity to the standards prescribed from time to time.
Upholding the Values of the Group and Company at all times.
Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies.
Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures to the extent applicable and reporting all suspicious Transactions to the Line Manager.
