Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle of each and every clinical trial study.
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency of the clinical trial supplies(IMP; Lab samples and Ancillary supplies)
Supervises study specific IMP, Ancillaries, documents and lab samples in close cooperation with other service providers and internal departments
Develops processes for temperature control for Clinical Trial Supplies and controls execution.
Oversees central file and product specification file documentation.
Organizes and supervises import / export and purchase of medication
Supervises and track manufacturing processes and control GMP compliance.
Supervises set-up and maintenance of inventory management systems e.g. IVRS.
Supervises the label development and labeling process.
Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
Manage maintenance program and supervise activities to assure equipment is properly operated and keeping appropriate records.
Perform periodically challenge tests to assure facility and equipment respond as expected in case of incident. (e.g. Power Failure Test, Alarm Test, etc)
Periodically write, print or generate reports (e.g. Temperature Report, Access Control Report, Facility inspection, Calibration report) to assure properly completed documentation.
Manage calibration schedule and review certificates and results to assure facility instruments are kept calibrated within acceptable deviation range.
With QA and Engineering Support perform Temperature Mapping including protocol, temperature sensor placement, equipment configuration, reports and assessment
With QA and Engineering Support write IQ/OQ/PQ/PR protocols and reports.
Train staff and vendor for authorized access to facility areas.
Consults with other departments on design and use of equipment, fire prevention and safety program.
Be available for on call duty in case of incident where the stored products are at risk.
Periodically inspect the facility to detect maintenance needs or potential accident and health hazards, and recommends corrective or preventive measures where indicated.
Comply with local laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Experience & Education Requirements
Broad training in fields such as Administration, Logistics or Supply chain, warehousing or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree or Masters program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Proven working experience as a logistics manager
Record of successful distribution and logistics management
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Proficient in standard logistics and warehouse software
