Prospecting, researching and developing relationships with potential clients engaged in the EXIM of Fertilizer and Agro Industry.
Conducting sales calls, sales presentations and follow-up meetings with potential business clients.
Securing new business cargo volumes as well as maintaining and growing current accounts.
Continuously seeking to upgrade the cargo/client mix to achieve long-term revenue growth.
Engage in all the activities related to Finalization of new contracts and contract renewals of the existing customers.
Assisting with the generation of supply chain solutions for potential business clients including
material handling, storage, distribution and other value-added services
Coordinating with staff in operations, logistics, customer service to address client requirements and ensure client satisfaction
Liason with various Government departments like Fertilizer Ministry, Food Ministry, Plant Quarantine etc.
Establish and maintain relationship with various trade bodies, members/associations like Fertilizer Association, Grains Pulses Association, Indian Sugar Mills Association, CHAs, Freight Forwarders and Transporters.
Participate and take lead in the industry related trade meets, seminars, exhibitions in order to generate new potential enquires, understand market trends, gather vital resources and conduct promotional activities.
Developing the marketing message and assist in the design of the marketing material that effectively communicates the various Ports under the company as an ideal logistics hub.
