Candidate will be responsible for retail sales and ensuring achievement of targets
Coordinate all sales activities (including primary and secondary) associated with primary client accounts with team members.
Overall responsibility for achieving sales and promotional targets for the company in the assigned territory.
Responsible for managing sales growth through distributors and retailers.
Monitor, review and report all sales activities and results in a timely manner.
Assist and coordinate negotiating contracts with vendors, distributors and modern retailers to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
Implement use of key selling tools, as per proactive selling.
Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure product sales and profitability.
Needs to close target sales month by month within stipulated time frame.
Ensuring bill by bill matching against each and every collection from the customers.
Loading of sales prices in the system (including but not limited to retail and various marketplaces) with proper approval process.
Proper visibility of products in retail counters & product promotion on an ongoing basis.
Inventory should be maintained as per companys norms in co-ordination with marketing & production team
Credit check, aging dues need to be monitored to ensure the same is in line with the company norms; and variance, if any need to be reported to the right authority.
Maintaining freight charges under control for all outgoing bulk dispatches.
Dispatches shall be monitored properly to ensure on time delivery (OTD).
Aged inventory need to be informed to the right authority and suggest for next course of action
Proper maintenance and ensuring neat and clean warehouse is a key part of the job responsibility.
Has to monitor all outgoing dispatches from the warehouse.
On time reporting over dispatches, pending dispatches, on time dispatches, delays in dispatches.
Good Interpersonal relationship with customers, staff, colleagues, and other departments.
