Preparation of Procurement Guidelines in line with Group Policies and implementation
Projects Purchases during Project Phase
Identification of Vendor Base (both National and International)
Vendor Development (including indigenous vendors where possible and feasible if cost / quality effective)
Managing Procurement Budget in synchronisation with Operations Plans Both Capex and Opex.
Logistics Management in close coordination with Sales & Marketing and Operations Teams
Help Operations in Annual Business Plans/Budgets with right inputs on various costs (raw material, services and fleet etc)
Analysis of Procurement Costs from time to time and take necessary steps for cost reductions, wherever possible
Forecasting Raw Material Supply/Demand patterns and advise management on Inventory Management
Forecasting Fleet Patterns and advise management appropriately, especially in case of Imports.
Implementation of ERP (Procurement Module)
Coordination with Customs Handling Agents in case of Import Material
Handling Customs related statutory compliance, as applicable and drive for duty exemptions / set-offs, if any available
Manage Service Purchases cost effectively such as Security/Housekeeping and other such services
Procurement MIS and Reporting
Should be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
Should possess minimum 12 years relevant experience, preferably in building material industry, covering both procurement and logistics functions.
Should have handled import purchases and should be familiar with EXIM Rules.
Should be able to read and understand plant & equipment details from an engineering perspective
