As a Social Media Manager you are expected to be aware of latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle clients social media presence ensuring high levels of social traffic and customer engagement.

Responsibilities: 

Ensuring the deliverables are met for the client for each project with complete satisfaction 

Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences 

Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals 

Set specific objectives and report on ROI 

Managing the content team that Generates, edits, publishes and shares engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) 

Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics 

Coordinate with clients to ensure brand consistency 

Communicate with clients, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor client reviews and projects 

Oversee social media accounts design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) for the clients 

Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions for the clients 

Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications 

Define overall social media strategy for all channels. 

Understand branding requirements & create copy based around it. 

Manage social media campaigns and be in charge of their production and publication and day to day activities. 

Develop relevant content topics to reach the clients’ target customers. 

Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, blogs, video and written). 

Monitor, listen and respond to clients in a social way. 

Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns. 

Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. 

Monitor online reviews and respond to each reviews. 

Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed. 

Compile reports for management showing results (ROI). 

Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan for clients. 

Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Social media manager/Social media strategist 

Hands on experience in content management 

Excellent copywriting skills 

Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) 

Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics 

Knowledge of online marketing channels 

Solid knowledge of facebook ads 

Excellent communication skills 

Analytical and multitasking skills
