Write clear, precise and unambiguous content in grammatically correct English and in an engaging and coherent style
Lay your footprints on a world class product by writing simplified content for the product that engages users and enhances their experience.
Refer diagrams, specifications, mockups, and product samples to understand and simplify the product use cases in a manner that would be easy for customers to understand and relate.
Capture screens, product tours, flow diagrams, charts etc to support and illustrate the content and make it easy for customers to understand
Write, maintain and manage blogs, whitepapers, user manuals
Work with cross functional teams, assess business and technical requirements and provide appropriate documentations
Create, edit, and maintain technical and allied publications that accurately and effectively support the product release requirements in various output formats (pdf, online help, mail, forum post etc.)
Successfully work with and communicate with product, development, delivery, support, sales and marketing teams. Competencies
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Familiarity with conventions in form, structure, and notation of technical writing.
Experience doing research using multiple sources and familiarity with web publications
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Communicate information in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Proficiency in office productivity tools for documentation, spreadsheet, presentation.
Proficiency in professional tools like Confluence, Wiki, Jira, etc.
Understanding of the software development life cycle
